I tested for Total Dissolved Solids using a TDS meter and the number I got was 271. THAT IS THE MOST TOXIC WATER I HAVE EVER SEEN. Even NYC tap water TDS score is 39. Poland Spring is 42. The water is not even drinkable. I think it’s Criminal to even make profits from selling this water filled with sodium fluoride and who knows what else is in that. 500 ppm (parts per million) is the EPA Maximum but even though the FDA is corrupt their recommended is 000, which is pure. THE ONLY BOTTLED WATER THAT READS 000 IS DUANEreade/Walgreens ‘NICE’ branded water. PLEASE SHARE THIS INFO ALONG. - anonymous Guys, don’t pay attention to this, at all! Here’s why: Total Dissolved Solids is exactly what it sounds like. Total Dissolved Solids is literally just the amount of Total Dissolved Solids. It is not directly associated with toxicity or ill health effects. High levels are also not always considered an indication of pollution. In wild waters such as rivers, it can mean runoff, sediment, chemical dumping, decaying matter, or any number of factors. TDS is not inherently an indicator of toxicity, but if you had 271 mg/l of something like - as an example, arsenic - you would be in trouble. Toxicity is soley dependent upon the composition of the TDS. The acceptable criteria for Drinking Water is 500 mg/l, which means that this water is 100% fine. (The units says PPM on the meter, which literally translates to mg/l, for the record.) If this person knew what TDS meant, or researched it at all, they would know this. Alas, they probably don’t and are sadly misinformed. Bottled water will also generally have a higher rate of TDS in comparison to Tap water, this is entirely normal and does not make it undrinkable. Any food/drink products sold are monitored by the FDA, so I don’t know why they involved the EPA in this post.  If it were harmful, it would be recalled. Sodium fluoride is also in most toothpaste, for the record.  Calcium, Phosphates, Nitrates, Sodium, Potassium, and Chloride are also considered Dissolved Solids in water. Any mineral/vitamin in water can be considered a Dissolved Solid. In conclusion, Drinking this bottled water will not hurt you one bit. We only have so much fresh water on Earth, don’t waste it!
